Which containers are safe for candles?

Use containers made to handle heat, such as thick glass candle jars, ceramic jars and candle tins. Avoid thin decorative glass that is not designed for burning candles.

How much wax does my candle jar hold?

Fill the jar with water to where the candle will reach, weigh the water, then multiply by about 0.86 to get the weight of wax you need.

Why use a candle jar with a lid?

A lid keeps dust out of the candle and helps preserve the fragrance between burns. It also gives your candle a finished, gift-ready look.
